I stayed at Giolitti Smart and had a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities and rooms were clean, and the location was perfect - close to Termini and within walking distance to the city center. The value for money was excellent, and I especially enjoyed the included breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. 👍

Fantastic Location

The hotel's fantastic location in the heart of Rome's historic center truly made my stay unforgettable. It felt like stepping into a time machine and being transported back to the glory days of the Eternal City. Every corner of the hotel exuded a simple, sober, and curated ambience that perfectly complemented its surroundings. From the moment I stepped out of the hotel, I found myself immersed in the vibrant energy and rich history of Rome. Exploring the nearby attractions such as the Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano and the Roman Forum was a breeze, thanks to the hotel's proximity. It was like having Rome's treasures at my doorstep.

While the hotel itself was a gem, nestled in the heart of Rome, I must admit that the area surrounding it had a bit of a dodgy feel. The badly lit streets, graffiti-covered walls, and groups of men hanging around did not necessarily create the most welcoming atmosphere.

Friendly staff who spoke basic English, nice and clean room, fresh towels every two days, close to train station. Staff manager Jan was amazing, handling requests professionally and providing great customer service.
